Zechariah 8:1-8 First Lesson

1. The word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying:

2. Thus says the Lord of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.

3. Thus says the Lord: I will return to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; Jerusalem shall be called the faithful city, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts shall be called the holy mountain.

4. Thus says the Lord of hosts: Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each with staff in hand because of their great age.

5. And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.

6. Thus says the Lord of hosts: Even though it seems impossible to the remnant of this people in these days, should it also seem impossible to me, says the Lord of hosts?

7. Thus says the Lord of hosts: I will save my people from the east country and from the west country;

8. and I will bring them to live in Jerusalem. They shall be my people and I will be their God, in faithfulness and in righteousness.

4. सर्वशक्तिमान यहोवा कहता है, “यरूशलेम में फिर बुढे स्त्री—पुरूष समाजिक स्थलों में दिखाई पङेंगे। लोग इतनी लम्बी आयु तक जीवीत रहेंगेकि उन्हें सहरे की छङी की आवश्यकता होगी

5. और नगर सङकों पर खेलने वाले बच्चों से भरा होगा।

6. बचे हुये लोग इसे आश्चर्यजनक मानेंगे और मैं भी इसे आश्चर्यजनक मानूँगा!”

7. सर्वशक्तिमान यहोवा कहता है, “देखो, मैं पूर्व और पश्चिम के देशो से अपने लोगों को बचा ले चल रहा हूँ।

8. मैं उन्हें यहाँ वापस लाऊँगा और वे यरूशलेम में रहेंगे। वे मेरे लोग होंगे और मैं उनका अच्छा और विश्वसनीय परमेश्वर होऊँगा!”

4. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇനിയും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വീഥികളിൽ വൃദ്ധന്മാരും വൃദ്ധമാരും ഇരിക്കും; വാർദ്ധക്യംനിമിത്തം ഓരോരുത്തൻ കയ്യിൽ വടി പടിക്കും.

5. നഗരത്തിന്റെ വീഥികൾ ആൺകുട്ടികളെയും പെൺകുട്ടികളെയും കൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കും; അവർ അതിന്റെ വീഥികളിൽ കളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

7. Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word that you have heard.

8. Yet I am writing you a new commandment that is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.

9. Whoever says, “I am in the light,” while hating a brother or sister, is still in the darkness.

10. Whoever loves a brother or sister lives in the light, and in such a person there is no cause for stumbling.

11. But whoever hates another believer is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know the way to go, because the darkness has brought on blindness.

12. I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven on account of his name.

13. I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young people, because you have conquered the evil one.

14. I write to you, children, because you know the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young people, because you are strong and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

7. हे प्यारे मित्रों, मैं तुम्हें कोई नई आज्ञा नहीं लिख रहा हूँ बल्कि यह एक सनातन आज्ञा है, जो तुम्हें प्रारम्भ में ही दे दी गयी थी। यह पुरानी आज्ञा वह सुसंदेश है जिसे तुम सुन चुके हो।

8. मैं तुम्हें एक और दूसरी नयी आज्ञा लिख रहा हूँ। इस तथ्य का सत्य मसीह के जीवन में और तुम्हारे जीवनों में उजागर हुआ है क्योंकि अन्धकार विलीन हो रहा है और सच्चा प्रकाश तो चमक ही रहा है।

9. जो कहता है, वह प्रकाश में स्थित है और फिर भी अपने भाई से घृणा करता है, तो वह अब तक अंधकार में बना हुआ है।

10. जो अपने भाई को प्रेम करता है, प्रकाश में स्थित रहता है। उसके जीवन में ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं है जिससे कोई पाप में न पड़े।

11. किन्तु जो अपने भाई से घृणा करता है, अँधेरे में है। वह अन्धकारपूर्ण जीवन जी रहा है। वह नहीं जानता, वह कहाँ जा रहा है। क्योंकि अँधेरे ने उसे अंधा बना दिया है।

12. हे प्यारे बच्चों, मैं तुम्हें इसलिए लिख रहा हूँ, क्योंकि यीशु मसीह के कारण तुम्हारे पाप क्षमा किए गए हैं।

13. हे पिताओं, मैं तुम्हें इसलिए लिख रहा हूँ, क्योंकि तुम, जो अनादि काल से स्थित है उसे जानते हो। हे युवको, मैं तुम्हें इसलिए लिख रहा हूँ, क्योंकि तुमने उस दुष्ट पर विजय पा ली है।

7. പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, പുതിയോരു കല്പനയല്ല ആദിമുതൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള പഴയ കല്പനയത്രേ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു. ആ പഴയ കല്പന നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ട വചനം തന്നേ.

8. പുതിയോരു കല്പന ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതുന്നു എന്നും പറയാം. അതു അവനിലും നിങ്ങളിലും സത്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇരുട്ടു നീങ്ങിപോകുന്നു; സത്യവെളിച്ചം ഇതാ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നു.

9. വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറകയും സഹോദരനെ പകെക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഇന്നെയോളം ഇരുട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

10. സഹോദരനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവൻ വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു; ഇടർച്ചെക്കു അവനിൽ കാരണമില്ല.

11. സഹോദരനെ പകെക്കുന്നവനോ ഇരുട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഇരുട്ടിൽ നടക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇരുട്ടു അവന്റെ കണ്ണു കുരുടാക്കുകയാൽ എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല.

12. കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങൾക്കു അവന്റെ നാമം നിമിത്തം പാപങ്ങൾ മോചിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതുന്നു.

13. പിതാക്കന്മാരേ, ആദിമുതലുള്ളവനെ നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതുന്നു. ബാല്യക്കാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ ദുഷ്ടനെ ജയിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതുന്നു. കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങൾ പിതാവിനെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Colossians 3:12-20 Epistle

12. As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

13. Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

14. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

15. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.

16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.

17. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Rules for Christian Households

18. Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

19. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly.

20. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is your acceptable duty in the Lord.

12. क्योंकि तुम परमेश्वर के चुने हुए पवित्र और प्रियजन हो इसलिए सहानुभूति, दया, नम्रता, कोमलता और धीरज को धारण करो।

13. तुम्हें आपस में जब कभी किसी से कोई कष्ट हो तो एक दूसरे की सह लो और परस्पर एक दूसरे को मुक्त भाव से क्षमा कर दो। तुम्हें आपस में एक दूसरे को ऐसे ही क्षमा कर देना चाहिए जैसे परमेश्वर ने तुम्हें मुक्त भाव से क्षमा कर दिया।

14. इन बातों के अतिरिक्त प्रेम को धारण करो। प्रेम ही सब को आपस में बाँधता और परिपूर्ण करता है।

15. तुम्हारे मन पर मसीह से प्राप्त होने वाली शांति का शासन हो। इसी के लिये तुम्हें उसी एक देह में बुलाया गया है। सदा धन्यवाद करते रहो।

16. अपनी सम्पन्नता के साथ मसीह का संदेश तुम में वास करे। भजनों, स्तुतियों और आत्मा के गीतों को गाते हुए बड़े विवेक के साथ एक दूसरे को शिक्षा और निर्देश देते रहो। परमेश्वर को मन ही मन धन्यवाद देते हुए गाते रहो।

17. और तुम जो कुछ भी करो या कहो, वह सब प्रभु यीशु के नाम पर हो। उसी के द्वारा तुम हर समय परम पिता परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद देते रहो। नये जीवन के नियम

18. हे पत्नियों, अपने पतियों के प्रति उस प्रकार समर्पित रहो जैसे प्रभु के अनुयायियों को शोभा देता है।

19. हे पतियों, अपनी पत्नियों से प्रेम करो, उनके प्रति कठोर मत बनो।

20. हे बालकों, सब बातों में अपने माता पिता की आज्ञा का पालन करो। क्योंकि प्रभु के अनुयायियों के इस व्यवहार से परमेश्वर प्रसन्न होता है।

12. അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വൃതന്മാരും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരും പ്രിയരുമായി മനസ്സലിവു, ദയ, താഴ്മ, സൌമ്യത, ദീർഘക്ഷമ എന്നിവ ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു

13. അന്യോന്യം പൊറുക്കയും ഒരുവനോടു ഒരുവന്നു വഴക്കുണ്ടായാൽ തമ്മിൽ ക്ഷമിക്കയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ.

14. എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും മീതെ സമ്പൂർണ്ണതയുടെ ബന്ധമായ സ്നേഹം ധരിപ്പിൻ.

15. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സമാധാനം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ വാഴട്ടെ; അതിന്നല്ലോ നിങ്ങൾ ഏകശരീരമായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നതു; നന്ദിയുള്ളവരായും ഇരിപ്പിൻ.

16. സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങളാലും സ്തുതികളാലും ആത്മികഗീതങ്ങളാലും തമ്മിൽ പഠിപ്പിച്ചും ബുദ്ധിയുപദേശിച്ചും നന്ദിയോടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്നു പാടിയും ഇങ്ങനെ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ വചനം ഐശ്വര്യമായി സകല ജ്ഞാനത്തോടും കൂടെ നിങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കട്ടെ.

17. വാക്കിനാലോ, ക്രിയയാലോ എന്തു ചെയ്താലും സകലവും കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ചെയ്തും അവൻ മുഖാന്തരം പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം പറഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടിരിപ്പിൻ.

18. ഭാര്യമാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭർത്താക്കന്മാർക്കു കർത്താവിൽ ഉചിതമാകും വണ്ണം കീഴടങ്ങുവിൻ.

19. ഭർത്താക്കന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ സ്നേഹിപ്പിൻ; അവരോടു കൈപ്പായിരിക്കയുമരുതു.

20. മക്കളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെ സകലത്തിലും അനുസരിപ്പിൻ. ഇതു കർത്താവിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ കണ്ടാൽ പ്രസാദകരമല്ലോ.

31. Then his mother and his brothers came; and standing outside, they sent to him and called him.

32. A crowd was sitting around him; and they said to him, “Your mother and your brothers and sisters are outside, asking for you.”

33. And he replied, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”

34. And looking at those who sat around him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers!

35. Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”

31. तभी उसकी माँ और भाई वहाँ आये और बाहर खड़े हो कर उसे भीतर से बुलवाया।

32. यीशु के चारों ओर भीड़ बैठी थी। उन्होंने उससे कहा, “देख तेरी माता, तेरे भाई और तेरी बहनें तुझे बाहर बुला रहे हैं।”

33. यीशु नें उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “मेरी माँ और मेरे भाई कौन हैं?”

34. उसे घेर कर चारों ओर बैठे लोगों पर उसने दृष्टि डाली और कहा, “ये है मेरी माँ और मेरे भाई!

35. जो कोई परमेश्वर की इच्छा पर चलता है, वही मेरा भाई, बहन और माँ है।”

31. അനന്തരം അവന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും വന്നു പുറത്തു നിന്നു അവനെ വിളപ്പാൻ ആളയച്ചു.

32. പുരുഷാരം അവന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു; അവർ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും പുറത്തു നിന്നു നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവൻ അവരോടു:

33. “എന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും ആർ ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു ചുറ്റിലും ഇരിക്കുന്നവരെ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു:

34. “എന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും ഇതാ.

35. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ തന്നേ എന്റെ സഹോദരനും സഹോദരിയും അമ്മയും ആകുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
