1. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

2. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and be their God;

4. he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.”

5. And the one who was seated on the throne said, “See, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

6. Then he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water as a gift from the spring of the water of life.

7. Those who conquer will inherit these things, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.

8. But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

1. फिर मैंने एक नया स्वर्ग और नयी धरती देखी। क्योंकि पहला स्वर्ग और पहली धरती लुप्त हो चुके थे। और वह सागर भी अब नहीं रहा था।

2. मैंने यरूशलेम की वह पवित्र नगरी भी आकाश से बाहर निकल कर परमेश्वर की ओर से नीचे उतरते देखी। उस नगरी को ऐसे सजाया गया था जैसे मानों किसी दुल्हन को उसके पति के लिए सजाया गया हो।

3. तभी मैंने आकाश में एक ऊँची ध्वनि सुनी। वह कह रही थी, “देखो अब परमेश्वर का मन्दिर मनुष्यों के बीच है और वह उन्हीं के बीच घर बनाकर रहा करेगा। वे उसकी प्रजा होंगे और स्वयं परमेश्वर उनका परमेश्वर होगा।

4. उनकी आँख से वह हर आँसू पोंछ डालेगा। और वहाँ अब न कभी मृत्यु होगी, न शोक के कारण कोई रोना-धोना और नहीं कोई पीड़ा। क्योंकि ये सब पुरानी बातें अब समाप्त हो चुकी हैं।”

5. इस पर जो सिंहासन पर बैठा था, वह बोला, “देखो, मैं सब कुछ नया किए दे रहा हूँ।” उसने फिर कहा, “इसे लिख ले क्योंकि ये वचन विश्वास करने योग्य हैं और सत्य हैं।”

6. वह मुझसे फिर बोला, “सब कुछ पूरा हो चुका है। मैं ही अल्फा हूँ और मैं ही ओमेगा हूँ। मैं ही आदि हूँ और मैं ही अन्त हूँ। जो भी प्यासा है मैं उसे जीवन-जल के स्रोत से सेंत-मेंत में मुक्त भाव से जल पिलाऊँगा।

7. जो विजयी होगा, उस सब कुछ का मालिक बनेगा। मैं उसका परमेश्वर होऊँगा और वह मेरा पुत्र होगा।

8. किन्तु कायरों अविश्वासियों, दुर्बुद्धियों, हत्यारों, व्यभिचारियों, जादूटोना करने वालों मूर्तिपूजकों और सभी झूठ बोलने वालों को भभकती गंधक की जलती झील में अपना हिस्सा बँटाना होगा। यही दूसरी मृत्यु है।”

1. ഞാൻ പുതിയ ആകാശവും പുതിയ ഭൂമിയും കണ്ടു; ഒന്നാമത്തെ ആകാശവും ഒന്നാമത്തെ ഭൂമിയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; സമുദ്രവും ഇനി ഇല്ല.

2. പുതിയ യെരൂശലേം എന്ന വിശുദ്ധനഗരം ഭർത്താവിന്നായി അലങ്കരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള മണവാട്ടിയെപ്പോലെ ഒരുങ്ങി സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു, ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽനിന്നു തന്നേ, ഇറങ്ങുന്നതും ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

3. സിംഹാസനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒരു മഹാശബ്ദം പറയുന്നതായി ഞാൻ കേട്ടതു: ഇതാ, മനുഷ്യരോടു കൂടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൂടാരം; അവൻ അവരോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കും; അവർ അവന്റെ ജനമായിരിക്കും; ദൈവം താൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായി അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും.

4. അവൻ അവരുടെ കണ്ണിൽ നിന്നു കണ്ണുനീർ എല്ലാം തുടെച്ചുകളയും.

5. ഇനി മരണം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ദുഃഖവും മുറവിളിയും കഷ്ടതയും ഇനി ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഒന്നാമത്തേതു കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ സകലവും പുതുതാക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. എഴുതുക, ഈ വചനം വിശ്വാസയോഗ്യവും സത്യവും ആകുന്നു എന്നും അവൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

6. പിന്നെയും അവൻ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: സംഭവിച്ചുതീർന്നു; ഞാൻ അല്ഫയും ഓമേഗയും ആദിയും അന്തവും ആകുന്നു; ദാഹിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഞാൻ ജിവനീരുറവിൽ നിന്നു സൌജന്യമായി കൊടുക്കും.

7. ജയിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഇതു അവകാശമായി ലഭിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവന്നു ദൈവവും അവൻ എനിക്കു മകനുമായിരിക്കും.

8. എന്നാൽ ഭീരുക്കൾ, അവിശ്വാസികൾ അറെക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ കുലപാതകന്മാർ, ദുർന്നടപ്പുകാർ, ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാർ, ബിംബാരാധികൾ എന്നിവർക്കും ഭോഷ്കുപറയുന്ന ഏവർക്കും ഉള്ള ഓഹരി തീയും ഗന്ധകവും കത്തുന്ന പൊയ്കയിലത്രേ: അതു രണ്ടാമത്തെ മരണം.

1. I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

2. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.

3. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.

1. इसलिए हे भाइयो परमेश्वर की दया का स्मरण दिलाकर मैं तुमसे आग्रह करता हूँ कि अपने जीवन एक जीवित बलिदान के रूप में परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करते हुए अर्पित कर दो। यह तुम्हारी आध्यात्मिक उपासना है जिसे तुम्हें उसे चुकाना है।

2. अब और आगे इस दुनिया की रीति पर मत चलो बल्कि अपने मनों को नया करके अपने आप को बदल डालो ताकि तुम्हें पता चल जाये कि परमेश्वर तुम्हारे लिए क्या चाहता है। यानी जो उत्तम है, जो उसे भाता है और जो सम्पूर्ण है।

3. इसलिए उसके अनुग्रह के कारण जो उपहार उसने मुझे दिया है, उसे ध्यान में रखते हुए मैं तुममें से हर एक से कहता हूँ, अपने को यथोचित समझो अर्थात जितना विश्वास उसने तुम्हें दिया है, उसी के अनुसार अपने को समझना चाहिए।

1. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മനസ്സലിവു ഓർപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു: നിങ്ങൾ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള ആരാധനയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരങ്ങളെ ജീവനും വിശുദ്ധിയും ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദവുമുള്ള യാഗമായി സമർപ്പിപ്പിൻ.

2. ഈ ലോകത്തിന്നു അനുരൂപമാകാതെ നന്മയും പ്രസാദവും പൂർണ്ണതയുമുള്ള ദൈവഹിതം ഇന്നതെന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു മനസ്സു പുതുക്കി രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുവിൻ.

3. ഭാവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മീതെ ഭാവിച്ചുയരാതെ ദൈവം അവനവന്നു വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ അളവു പങ്കിട്ടതുപോലെ സുബോധമാകുംവണ്ണം ഭാവിക്കേണമെന്നു ഞാൻ എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപയാൽ നിങ്ങളിൽ ഓരോരുത്തനോടും പറയുന്നു.

1. On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

2. Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.

3. When the wine gave out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.”

4. And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what concern is that to me and to you? My hour has not yet come.”

5. His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”

6. Now standing there were six stone water jars for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons.

7. Jesus said to them, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.

8. He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the person in charge of the banquet.” So they took it.

9. When the person in charge tasted the water that had become wine and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), that person called the bridegroom

10. and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first and then the inferior wine after the guests have become drunk. But you have kept the good wine until now.”

11. Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee and revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

1. गलील के काना में तीसरे दिन किसी के यहाँ विवाह था। यीशु की माँ भी मौजूद थी।

2. शादी में यीशु और उसके शिष्यों को भी बुलाया गया था।

3. वहाँ जब दाखरस खत्म हो गया, तो यीशु की माँ ने कहा, “उनके पास अब और दाखरस नहीं है।”

4. यीशु ने उससे कहा, “यह तू मुझसे क्यों कह रही है? मेरा समय अभी नहीं आया।”

5. फिर उसकी माँ ने सेवकों से कहा, “वही करो जो तुमसे यह कहता है।”

6. वहाँ पानी भरने के पत्थर के छह मटके रखे थे। ये मटके वैसे ही थे जैसे यहूदी पवित्र स्नान के लिये काम में लाते थे। हर मटके में कोई बीस से तीस गैलन तक पानी आता था।

7. यीशु ने सेवकों से कहा, “मटकों को पानी से भर दो।” और सेवकों ने मटकों को लबालब भर दिया।

8. फिर उसने उनसे कहा, “अब थोड़ा बाहर निकालो, और दावत का इन्तज़ाम कर रहे प्रधान के पास उसे ले जाओ।” और वे उसे ले गये।

9. फिर दावत के प्रबन्धकर्ता ने उस पानी को चखा जो दाखरस बन गया था। उसे पता ही नहीं चला कि वह दाखरस कहाँ से आया। पर उन सेवकों को इसका पता था जिन्होंने पानी निकाला था। फिर दावत के प्रबन्धक ने दूल्हे को बुलाया।

10. और उससे कहा, “हर कोई पहले उत्तम दाखरस परोसता है और जब मेहमान काफ़ी तृप्त हो चुकते हैं तो फिर घटिया। पर तुमने तो उत्तम दाखरस अब तक बचा रखा है।”

11. यीशु ने गलील के काना में यह पहला आश्चर्यकर्म करके अपनी महिमा प्रकट की। जिससे उसके शिष्यों ने उसमें विश्वास किया।

1. മൂന്നാം നാൾ ഗലീലയിലെ കാനാവിൽ ഒരു കല്യാണം ഉണ്ടായി; യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

2. യേശുവിനെയും ശിഷ്യന്മാരെയും കല്യാണത്തിന്നു ക്ഷണിച്ചിരുന്നു.

3. വീഞ്ഞു പോരാതെവരികയാൽ യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവനോടു: അവർക്കു വീഞ്ഞു ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

4. യേശു അവളോടു: “സ്ത്രീയേ, എനിക്കും നിനക്കും തമ്മിൽ എന്തു? എന്റെ നാഴിക ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു”.

5. അവന്റെ അമ്മ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരോടു: അവൻ നിങ്ങളോടു എന്തെങ്കിലും കല്പിച്ചാൽ അതു ചെയ്‍വിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6. അവിടെ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണനിയമം അനുസരിച്ചു രണ്ടോ മൂന്നോ പറവീതം കൊള്ളുന്ന ആറു കല്പാത്രം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

7. യേശു അവരോടു: “ഈ കല്പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ വെള്ളം നിറെപ്പിൻ ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ വക്കൊളവും നിറെച്ചു.

8. “ഇപ്പോൾ കോരിവിരുന്നുവാഴിക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊടുപ്പിൻ ” എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊടുത്തു.

9. അതു എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു വെള്ളം കോരിയ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരല്ലാതെ വിരുന്നുവാഴി അറിഞ്ഞില്ല. വീഞ്ഞായിത്തീർന്ന വെള്ളം വിരുന്നുവാഴി രുചിനോക്കിയാറെ മണവാളനെ വിളിച്ചു:

10. എല്ലാവരും ആദ്യം നല്ല വീഞ്ഞും ലഹരി പിടിച്ചശേഷം ഇളപ്പമായതും കൊടുക്കുമാറുണ്ടു; നീ നല്ല വീഞ്ഞു ഇതുവരെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവെച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

11. യേശു ഇതിനെ അടയാളങ്ങളുടെ ആരംഭമായി ഗലീലയിലെ കാനാവിൽ വെച്ചു ചെയ്തു തന്റെ മഹത്വം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി; അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
