Jeremiah 33:10-16 First Lesson

10. Thus says the Lord: In this place of which you say, “It is a waste without human beings or animals,” in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without inhabitants, human or animal, there shall once more be heard

11. the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord: “Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.

12. Thus says the Lord of hosts: In this place that is waste, without human beings or animals, and in all its towns there shall again be pasture for shepherds resting their flocks.

13. In the towns of the hill country, of the Shephelah, and of the Negeb, in the land of Benjamin, the places around Jerusalem, and in the towns of Judah, flocks shall again pass under the hands of the one who counts them, says the Lord. The Righteous Branch and the Covenant with David

14. The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

15. In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring up for David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

16. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. And this is the name by which it will be called: “The Lord is our righteousness.”

10. “तुम लोग यह कह रहे हो, ‘हमारा देश सूनी मरुभूमि है। वहाँ कोई व्यक्ति या कोई जानवर जीवित नहीं रहे।’ अब यरूशलेम की सड़कों और यहूदा के नगरों में निर्जन शान्ति है। किन्तु वहाँ शीघ्र ही चहल—पहल होगी।

11. वहाँ सुख और आनन्द की किलोलें होंगी। वहाँ वर—वधु की उमंग भरी चुहल होगी। वहाँ यहोवा के मन्दिर में अपनी भेंट लाने वाले की मधुर वाणी होगी। वे लोग कहेंगे, सर्वशक्तिमान यहोवा की स्तुति करो! यहोवा दयालु है! यहोवा की दया सदा बनी रहती है! लोग ये बातें कहेंगे क्योंकि मैं फिर यहूदा के लिये अच्छे काम करुँगा। यह वैसा ही होगा जैसा आरम्भ में था।” ये बातें यहोवा ने कही।

12. सर्वशक्तिमान यहोवा कहता है, “यह स्थान अब सूना है। यहाँ कोई लोग या जानवर नहीं रह रहें। किन्तु अब यहूदा के सभी नगरों में लोग रहेंगे। वहाँ गडरिये होंगे और चरागाहें होंगी जहाँ वे अपनी रेवड़ों को आराम करने देंगे।

13. गडरिये अपनी भेड़ों को तब गिनते हैं जब भेड़ें उनके आगे चलती हैं। लोग अपनी भेड़ों को पूरे देश में चारों ओर पहाड़ी प्रदेश, पश्चिमी पर्वत चरण, नेगव और यहूदा के सभी नगरों में गिनेंगे।” अच्छी शाखा

14. यह सन्देश यहोवा का है: “मैंने इस्राएल और यहूदा के लोगों को विशेष वचन दिया है। वह समय आ रहा है जब मैं वह करूँगा जिसे करने का वचन मैंने दिया है।

15. उस समय मैं दाऊद के परिवार से एक अच्छी शाखा उत्पन्न करुँगा। वह अच्छी शाखा वह सब करेगी जो देश के लिये अच्छा और उचित होगा।

16. इस शाखा के समय यहूदा के लोगों की रक्षा हो जाएगी। लोग यरूशलेम में सुरक्षित रहेंगे। उस शाखा का नाम ‘यहोवा हमारी धार्मिकता (विजय) हैं।’”

10. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മനുഷ്യരും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും മനുഷ്യനോ, നിവാസികളോ, മൃഗമോ ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേംവീഥികളിലും

11. ഇനിയും ആനന്ദഘോഷവും സന്തോഷധ്വനിയും മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരവും മണവാട്ടിയുടെ സ്വരവും: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ, യഹോവ നല്ലവനല്ലോ, അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു എന്നു പറയുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദവും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ സ്തോത്രയാഗം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദവും കേൾക്കും; ഞാൻ ദേശത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റി പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ ആക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

12. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മനുഷ്യനും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും അതിന്റെ സകലപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആടുകളെ കിടത്തുന്ന ഇടയന്മാർക്കും ഇനിയും മേച്ചൽപുറം ഉണ്ടാകും;

13. മലനാട്ടിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും താഴ്വീതിയിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും തെക്കെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ബെന്യാമീൻ ദേശത്തും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുവട്ടത്തിലും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആടുകൾ എണ്ണുന്നവന്റെ കൈക്കു കീഴെ ഇനിയും കടന്നുപോകും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

14. ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തോടും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത നല്ലവചനം നിവർത്തിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

15. ആ നാളുകളിലും ആ കാലത്തും ഞാൻ ദാവീദിന്നു നീതിയുള്ളോരു മുളയായവനെ മുളെപ്പിക്കും; അവൻ ദേശത്തു നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തും.

16. അന്നാളിൽ യെഹൂദാ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും; യെരൂശലേം നിർഭയമായ്‍വസിക്കും; അതിന്നു യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ നീതി എന്നു പേർ പറയും.
Romans 15:1-7 Second Lesson

1. We who are strong ought to put up with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

2. Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.

3. For Christ did not please himself; but, as it is written, “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”

4. For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.

5. May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus,

6. so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel for Jews and Gentiles Alike

7. Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

1. हम जो आत्मिक रूप से शक्तिशाली हैं, उन्हें उनकी दुर्बलता सहनी चाहिये जो शक्तिशाली नहीं हैं। हम बस अपने आपको ही प्रसन्न न करें।

6. ताकि तुम सब एक साथ एक स्वर से हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के परमपिता, परमेश्वर को महिमा प्रदान करो।

7. इसलिए एक दूसरे को अपनाओ जैसे तुम्हें मसीह ने अपनाया। यह परमेश्वर की महिमा के लिए करो।

5. ജഡം സംബന്ധിച്ചു ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽനിന്നു ജനിക്കയും മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കയാൽ വിശുദ്ധിയുടെ ആത്മാവു സംബന്ധിച്ചു ദൈവപുത്രൻ എന്നു ശക്തിയോടെ നിർണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നവനാലല്ലോ ഞങ്ങൾ

6. അവന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നായി സകലജാതികളുടെയും ഇടയിൽ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നു അനുസരണം വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു കൃപയും അപ്പൊസ്തലത്വവും പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

7. അവരിൽ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്നായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
2 Thessalonians 1:3-5 Epistle

3. We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

4. Therefore we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith during all your persecutions and the afflictions that you are enduring. The Judgment at Christ’s Coming

5. This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, and is intended to make you worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering.

3. हे भाईयों, तुम्हारे लिए हमें सदा परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करना चाहिए, ऐसा करना उचित भी है। क्योंकि तुम्हारे विश्वास का आश्चर्यजनक रूप से विकास हो रहा है तथा तुममें आपसी प्रेम भी बढ़ रहा है।

4. इसलिए परमेश्वर की कलीसियाओं में हम स्वयं तुम पर गर्व करते हैं। तुम्हारी यातनाओं के बीच तथा कष्टों को सहते हुए धैर्यपूर्वक सहन करना तुम्हारे विश्वास को प्रकट करता है। पौलुस का धन्यवाद तथा परमेश्वर के न्याय की चर्चा

5. यह इस बात का स्पष्ट प्रमाण है कि परमेश्वर का न्याय सच्चा है। उसका उद्देश्य यही है कि तुम परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश करने योग्य ठहरो। तुम अब उसी के लिए तो कष्ट उठा रहे हो।

3. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം ഏറ്റവും വർദ്ധിച്ചും ആളാംപ്രതി നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലാവർക്കും അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹം പെരുകിയും വരികയാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ യോഗ്യമാകുംവണ്ണം ദൈവത്തിന്നു എപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വാൻ കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ സഹിക്കുന്ന സകല ഉപദ്രവങ്ങളിലും കഷ്ടങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹിഷ്ണതയും വിശ്വാസവും നിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭകളിൽ നിങ്ങളെച്ചൊല്ലി പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നു.

5. അതു നിങ്ങൾ കഷ്ടപ്പെടുവാൻ ഹേതുവായിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ യോഗ്യന്മാരായി എണ്ണും എന്നിങ്ങനെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതിയുള്ള വിധിക്കു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു.

39. In those days Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country,

40. where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.

41. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit

42. and exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.

43. And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me?

44. For as soon as I heard the sound of your greeting, the child in my womb leaped for joy.

45. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord.” Mary’s Song of Praise

39. मरियम तुरन्त यहूदिया प्रदेश के पर्वतीय क्षेत्र के एक नगर को चली गईं.

39. ആ നാളുകളിൽ മറിയ എഴുന്നേറ്റു മല നാട്ടിൽ ഒരു യെഹൂദ്യപട്ടണത്തിൽ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു ചെന്നു,

40. സെഖര്യാവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തി എലീശബെത്തിനെ വന്ദിച്ചു.

41. മറിയയുടെ വന്ദനം എലീശബെത്ത് കേട്ടപ്പോൾ പിള്ള അവളുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ തുള്ളി; എലീശബെത്ത് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു നിറഞ്ഞവളായി,

42. ഉച്ചത്തിൽ വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു: സ്ത്രീകളിൽ നീ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൾ; നിന്റെ ഗർഭ ഫലവും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടതു:

43. എന്റെ കർത്താവിന്റെ മാതാവു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്ന മാനം എനിക്കു എവിടെ നിന്നു ഉണ്ടായി.

44. നിന്റെ വന്ദനസ്വരം എന്റെ ചെവിയിൽ വീണപ്പോൾ പിള്ള എന്റെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ ആനന്ദം കൊണ്ടു തുള്ളി.

45. കർത്താവു തന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതിന്നു നിവൃത്തിയുണ്ടാകും എന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ചവൾ ഭാഗ്യവതി.
